Senior IT Engineer Tester

### About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on testing expertise with the ability to coordinate testing activities, guide team members, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Previous experience in a Test Lead or Team Lead role would be an advantage. This position requires a proactive professional who can take ownership of testing activities, collaborate effectively with customer stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

### What you will do

• Lead and coordinate software testing activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

• Perform test analysis, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.

• Plan and prioritize testing workloads, coordinate daily team activities, and monitor progress.

• Conduct functional and non-functional testing, including performance, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Analyze customer requirements, identify potential risks, and ensure adequate test coverage.

• Work with complex customer applications, databases, and backend systems to validate functionality and performance.

• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, development teams, and other technical teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment.

• Provide technical guidance and support to testing team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

• Identify opportunities for test automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

• Take ownership of testing deliverables, proactively manage risks, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

### The skills you bring

• Strong professional experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably in complex IT environments.

• Solid knowledge of test analysis, test design, execution, defect management, and reporting.

• Previous experience in a Test Lead, Team Lead, or similar coordination role is considered an advantage.

• Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing methodologies.

• Experience with performance, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with complex customer applications, databases, and backend systems.

• Ability to translate business and customer requirements into effective testing strategies and test coverage.

• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage priorities and support team delivery.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

• Knowledge of test automation practices and tools is an advantage.
