WHO YOU ARE
As a Sr Lead, Full Stack Developer you are responsible for transforming the design and product vision into a seamless and delightful online banking platform. You dedicate time to stay on top of the fast changing tech space and invest a lot of energy in learning new tricks. You are caught up on industry trends in web development frameworks, DevSecOps, serverless computing/architecture and cloud technologies along with building skills to anticipate what the near future will bring. You love clean interfaces and have a real passion for extraordinary user experience. Furthermore:
- You bring 12+ years of experience with Spring Boot Microservices and Java Hibernate/ORM
- You are skilled in writing JAVA based batch processing, REST, SOAP, Web application Security.
- You are skilled in working with one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular)
- You have a strong understanding of REST APIs and how to use them in practice.
- You have strong understanding of relational database concepts and have exposure to PL/SQL.
- You have experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub and Confluence.
- You have strong experience with unit testing and test automation tools and frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine, Jest etc.
- You have experience in Domain Driven Design
- You have good Understanding of Cloud design principles
- You have exposure to writing UNIX/LINUX scripts

As a partner on the Wealth Passport Development Team, you will be an integral part of one of our nimble and agile cross-functional teams innovating an entire industry. We are actively exploring emerging technologies in AI, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Blockchain and Decentralized Finance to elevate dozens of products and services which millions of customers use. As a Full Stack Developer, you will:
- Work closely with other developers to design and develop functional, performing and complete features, systems and APIs
- Constantly look for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution by not being afraid of challenging the status quo
- Work with other developers on the team, specifically with code reviews and pair programming
- Decipher existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources
- Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks

Salary Range:
$114,500 - 194,700 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
