This position provides essential workplace services support, helping maintain a professional, organized, and productive office environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

 

The Service Specialist assists with mail and package services, conference room support, hospitality services, inventory management, office moves, and general workplace operations. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Services Support

• Support daily workplace services operations throughout the facility
• Assist with workplace service requests and operational support activities
• Perform routine workplace inspections and report facility concerns
• Support workplace projects and special assignments as needed
• Partner with workplace services team members to maintain service excellence

Mail, Shipping & Logistics

• Receive, sort, track, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Assist with shipping, receiving, courier, and logistics activities
• Maintain accurate inventory and operational records
• Support package tracking and delivery processes
• Assist with departmental reporting and documentation as needed

Conference Room & Hospitality Services

• Support conference room setup, breakdown, room resets, and meeting support activities
• Assist with catering deliveries and hospitality requests
• Maintain conference rooms, kitchens, breakrooms, and common areas to workplace standards
• Support employee events and workplace experience initiatives
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests

Office Operations Support

• Stock office supplies, pantry items, and workplace consumables
• Assist with office moves, furniture relocations, and workstation setups
• Support inventory management activities
• Maintain organized storage and workplace support areas
• Perform additional workplace services duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One or more years of experience in customer service, hospitality, office services, facilities support, retail, food service, shipping and receiving, or a related field preferred
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push carts and move office furniture
• Ability to climb ladders and safely perform light maintenance activities
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform physical workplace support functions throughout the workday
