Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise day to day operational activities related to ship operation.
2. Ensure compliance with organisation procedures and industry regulations to ensure the safe operation of ships.
3. Analyze ships operational data to improve efficiency, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions.
4. Acquire new principals and maintain existing principals.
5. Align business proposal and deals with market trends and profitability goals.
6. Maintain strong communication with principals and act as their main point of contact.
7. Monitor and report vessel activities to principals regularly and accurately.
8. Analyze market activities and provide insights to develop and expand market presence.
9. Respond to principal requests and ensure timely fulfillment of vessel operational needs.
10. Coordinate with related departments to ensure client satisfaction.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
1. At least 1-2 years of experience in operations and/or commercial roles in the shipping/marine industry. Also open to fresh graduates with internship experience in husbandry work/stowage plan/bay plan.
2. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Transportation/Logistic, Business, Maritime Studies, or related fields.
3. Knowledge of vessel operations and marine services is preferred.
4. Knowledge of export/import policies and laws, with strong problem-solving skills.
5. Preferably with a background in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
6. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
7. Intermediate Mandarin skills will be an advantage
8. Willingness to travel or be based anywhere in Indonesia as needed.
