Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Evening Shift in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to guest and team member needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel public areas, guest corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns and following established escalation procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
