Management Accountant

LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is a UK-based partnership, wholly owned by the private banking group LGT, which is in turn owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·       Preparing monthly management accounts for the LGT WM Jersey entity (including support across the other LGT WM UK entities when required).

·       Prepare month end Management and Board Information – including AuA, NAI, ROA, Jersey Team and Jersey Entity reporting.

·       Analysis on the financials – including analytical review and commentary.

·       Support to junior staff responsible for Purchase Invoices, staff expenses and bank reconciliations.

·       Monthly management journals – accruals, prepayments and salaries etc.

·       Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and Fixed Asset register.

·       Intercompany reconciliations with LGT WM UK Group and the wider LGT group, including communications with Group counterparts.

·       Key UK audit contact for all WMUK entities, alongside the Head of Accounting. Liaising with external auditors, providing relevant and accurate information and answering auditor queries.

·       Assist in preparation of financial statements for all WMUK entities. Adhering to tight timelines set with external auditors.

Regulatory reporting and tax filings.

Requirements

Key Skills and Technical Requirements:

·       ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.

·       Recently qualified or 1 year post-qualified experience necessary.

·       Prior use of an accounting system preferred.

·       Either from an audit background or prior experience of audit involvement.

Other Skills and Attributes:

·       Excellent numeracy, oral & written communication skills.

·       Ability to meet tight deadlines and time management.

·       Attention to detail, accuracy and quality of work.

·       Experience in financial services sector desirable.

·       Advanced Excel skills – VLOOKUP, pivot tables.
