Job Summary
• This role is responsible for devising and executing sales strategies, setting performance targets aligned with organizational objectives, and nurturing customer relationships. The role manages a team of individual contributors and conducts regular performance evaluations to provide constructive feedback to enhance skills and drive revenue. The role prepares sales reports, manages budgets, and facilitates training to optimize sales performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Establishes clear sales objectives and performance targets that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
• Crafts and executes comprehensive sales strategies that encompass market analysis, opportunity identification, and tactics to surpass sales targets.
• Cultivates and maintains strong customer relationships, particularly with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Conducts thorough performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and establishing individual development plans to foster growth.
• Generates and presents comprehensive sales reports to upper management, offering valuable insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
• Manages the sales budget, making resource allocations, monitoring expenses, and striving for cost-effectiveness.
• Manages account planning while maintaining a sales pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of opportunities to meet revenue goals.
• Keeps up to date with sales technology, CRM systems, and other tools to improve efficiency and productivity in the sales process.
• Delivers continuous training and development programs to empower the sales team with enhanced product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement skills.
• Conducts regular sales meetings to address challenges and share best practices while keeping the team informed, aligned with goals, and motivated.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, business management, project management, or a related field.
