Job Description:
The EDiscovery Analyst will support the Mars in-house Forensics and eDiscovery Services team by leading the delivery of eDiscovery projects, ensuring delivery timelines and standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong, use-case-centric understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and extensive experience with eDiscovery tools, workflows, and best practices. As the EDiscovery Analyst, you will provide consultation to investigation and litigation case teams on data insight and processing standards and work closely with in-house Digital Technologies professionals and external service provider partners to ensure delivery quality and timeliness. The successful candidate will be working with a small, highly effective team of professionals. Communication skills and attention to detail are critical for this position, as this is a customer-facing role expected to frequently interact with senior leaders in Legal and other governance functions to coordinate high-stakes projects.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Oversee End-To-End eDiscovery Project Delivery: Support project intake, participate in status calls, ensure workflow and technical standards are met throughout all EDRM lifecycles, and lead technical reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Data Identification and Preservation: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Mars and its business segments to identify relevant electronically stored information (ESI), preserve in-scope data, and report on data availability and preservation application details in compliance with organizational and regulatory policies and standards
Data Collection and Processing: Collect data from various data source types, ensuring forensic integrity and chain of custody throughout the collection process; process data and provide analytics support in preparation for document review
Review Support: Support review project management by configuring workspaces, layouts, permissions, review populations, and search criteria; deliver analytics and reporting; support document production by ensuring production requirements are clearly defined and accurately executed
Reviewer Training: Provide training/support to the review team on review functions in Microsoft Purview eDiscovery and RelativityOne
What are we looking for?
5 (five) years of professional experience, of which 2 or more are with a global GPG organization or a management consulting firm
3 (two) years of experience in Relativity processing and end-to-end workflow management
Excellent time management and project management skills, able to independently track and manage multiple concurrent, simultaneous work streams and find creative solutions to effectively drive projects to closure
Exceptional attention to detail, ability to keep project documentation and communicate status updates accurately, concisely, and timely
Strong customer focus, dedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders, ability to gain customers’ trust and respect and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
Strong organizational agility, ability to learn how organizations work, navigate through organizational network and context effectively, and make sound operational decisions following policies and procedures
BS/BA or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in RelativityOne is a must (Relativity Certified Administrator certificate highly preferred), proficiency in Microsoft Purview eDiscovery highly preferred
Knowledge of computer/mobile forensics and experience with applications such as EnCase, FTK, ModeOne, and Cellebrite preferred
