Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Unarmed Patrol in Winter Park, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will help identify and report security-related concerns while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with established property procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
