Senior Commercial Property Claims Examiner
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Property Claims Examiner to join a dynamic and cohesive team. In this role, you will handle complex commercial property claims, primarily for habitational accounts such as condominiums, apartments, and homeowner associations (HOAs).
Compensation Package
- Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year (depending on experience) + bonus opportunities
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 125-150 commercial property claims across the United States, with a focus on California.
- Handle claims for habitational accounts, including condominiums, apartments, and HOAs.
- Collaborate with a team of 10 adjusters in a supportive and cohesive work environment.
- Travel as needed for mediations and annual team meetings.
- Utilize Xactimate software for claims processing and reporting.
- Cross-train into different lines of business and jurisdictions to expand expertise.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years handling complex commercial property claims.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid license and have experience handling claims in California.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Xactimate is required (certification or HAG license is a plus).
- Flexibility: Willingness to work West Coast hours and travel for training, mediations, and team events.
- Background: Experience with carriers is preferred, but TPA or independent adjuster backgrounds are also acceptable.
- Adaptability: Open to cross-training into multi-line claims and different jurisdictions.
