The Order Fulfillment Specialist has a critical role - getting customer orders ready to ship by picking parts, collecting manufactured products, checking orders for accuracy & quality, and packaging them for shipment.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Pick parts from inventory for customer orders
- Collect completed products from production areas
- Check parts, quantities, labels, and product quality
- Maintain organization of orders and paperwork in the order staging area
- Package orders safely and efficiently, including boxes and pallets
- Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment
- Safety operate packaging machinery, such as pallet wrapper, bander, scale and labelers
- Help load and unload trucks
- Keep work areas, supplies, and inventory organized
- Help with inventory and other departmental activities as needed
- Work closely with team members in Shipping, Receiving, and Production to ensure customer orders ship on time
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Previous forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to follow work instructions and recognize when something doesn't look right
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with team members, freight carriers, and other internal departments
- Able to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and carry them for up to 10 feet
- Able to stand, sit, bend, reach, and move about the facility
- Flexibility to accommodate changing tasks and priorities
