About this opportunity:
Lead end-to-end technical delivery of RAN projects at Ericsson, covering solution design, implementation, optimization, acceptance, and customer engagement. Strong expertise in 4G/LTE is required; 5G knowledge is a plus. Deep Ericsson product knowledge is mandatory.
What you will do:
- Lead RAN project delivery from design through deployment, optimization, and customer handover.
- Define and validate RAN solutions aligned with customer requirements, Ericsson standards, and network strategy.
- Manage design activities including coverage, capacity, parameter planning, and feature implementation.
- Drive tuning and optimization to improve coverage, quality, capacity, and user experience.
- Lead acceptance activities — test planning, KPI definition, issue resolution, and customer sign-off.
- Serve as the primary technical interface for customers and senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate across project managers, RF engineers, delivery teams, and subcontractors.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and deviations.
- Ensure compliance with Ericsson processes, governance models, quality, and security standards.
- Lead design reviews, troubleshooting sessions, and executive steering meetings.
- Translate technical topics into clear business impacts and recommendations for senior management.
- Support presales, bid, and solution validation activities when needed.
- Maintain documentation, acceptance evidence, and handover material.
- Coach RAN engineers and promote knowledge sharing across delivery teams.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's in Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience in RAN architecture, design, deployment, optimization, and acceptance.
- Strong practical knowledge of 4G/LTE; 5G NR knowledge is an advantage.
- Mandatory: proven expertise in Ericsson RAN systems, products, tools, and delivery processes.
- Experience leading RAN projects in customer-facing environments.
- Proficient in RAN KPIs, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Strong grasp of project governance, risk management, and process compliance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make decisions under pressure.
- Open to travel and international/multicultural project environments.
