In this role, you will be trusted to plan and execute engineering tasks with minimal supervision, identify technical risks, define priorities and drive solutions to completion. You may support both Baker Hughes projects and outsourced engineering programs, working directly with customers and supplier organizations in an international environment. Working alongside engineering teams across Poland, the UK and Vietnam, you will contribute to the successful delivery of customer-focused solutions while applying your technical expertise to increasingly complex engineering challenges. Supporting development of power, control, communication and electronic/PCBA systems.
Collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams and promoting best engineering practice.
To be successful in this role you will:
Bring demonstrated leadership in decision‑making, mentoring, technical governance, and coordination of engineering delivery.
Have a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering with strong theory foundation.
Have proven experience with electrical/electronic design, AC/DC systems, analogue/digital electronics and component selection.
Have confidence working in an international team, fluent English is a requirement as well as strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with capability to write clear documentation.
Be able to create and interpret schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams and product documentation.
Have knowledge of IEC, CE and other relevant international standards plus risk, EHS and QA processes.
Preferably bring experience in one of the following: AutoCAD, PLM, Creo, Altium tools and relevant analysis software (but not essential)
Be flexible, collaborative and able to support manufacturing, testing and offshore/workshop tasks when required.
