Role summary:
The Associate Merchant for Beer & Hard Beverage Singles supports category management, assortment selection, item setup, and execution of key merchandising initiatives. Using customer insights, data analysis, and financial tracking, this role evaluates category performance, identifies growth opportunities, and supports budgeting and forecasting. The Associate Merchant collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional partners to execute category strategies, enhance the customer experience, and drive business results. Strong communication, project management, and vendor relationship skills are essential to managing priorities, ensuring accurate execution, and maintaining compliance in a fast-paced, evolving category.

Collaborating across the organization and with suppliers, the team leverages data, customer insights, and category expertise to identify opportunities and execute strategies. What you'll do:

• Support Beer & Hard Beverage Singles category management, including assortment selection, item setup, modular execution, and promotions.
• Build strong supplier partnerships, support item and supplier setup, and resolve issues.
• Analyze sales, customer, and category performance to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Track category financial performance, support forecasting, and contribute to budgeting processes.
• Develop and execute assortment strategies and feature proposals that drive growth and enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate product content and effective execution across channels.
• Manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely execution and compliance with company policies.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations to support category goals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analysis tools for performance tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of category strategy development and execution, including budgeting and forecasting support.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier issues and support item setup and pricing decisions.
• Effective communication skills to manage customer-focused initiatives and support store and online merchandising activities.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
