About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Office in Hong Kong, within the Restaurants, Bars & Experiences Department, the Regional Director of Restaurants, Bars & Experiences Operations is responsible for leading RB&E operations across APAC and the Middle East, driving commercial performance, operational excellence, consistent brand standards and exceptional guest experiences. The position reports to the Group Director of Restaurants, Bars & Experiences.
As Regional Director of Restaurants, Bars & Experiences Operations, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Lead and execute the regional RB&E strategy across APAC and the Middle East, translating Group priorities into measurable hotel-level actions and results.
Partner with hotel leadership teams to drive revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence and guest satisfaction across all RB&E outlets.
Provide operational leadership and hands-on support for hotel openings, renovations, concept launches and performance recovery initiatives.
Drive innovation through programming, partnerships, menu optimisation, guest experience enhancements and commercially relevant concepts.
Monitor business performance, forecasts and market trends, identifying opportunities to improve revenues, margins and productivity.
Support regional RB&E revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and profit improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including hotel leadership, owners, consultants, procurement, marketing and supplier partners.
Support talent development, succession planning and capability building across RB&E leadership teams within the region.
Ensure compliance with operating standards, policies, audit requirements and system adoption across all properties.
As Regional Director of Restaurants, Bars & Experiences Operations, we expect from you:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business or a related discipline.
10+ years of senior Restaurants, Bars & Experiences leadership experience within luxury hospitality, with regional or multi-property responsibility.
Proven experience leading restaurant and bar operations, concept execution, openings, performance improvement and commercial programming in complex luxury environments.
Strong financial, analytical, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to travel extensively throughout APAC and the Middle East.
