If you're motivated by solving complex project challenges, improving constructability, and guiding clients through high-value investment decisions, this is an opportunity to lead major onshore wind developments while contributing to the growth of Beca's renewable energy capability across our renewables business.
We are open to candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and offer flexibility to support the right person joining our growing renewables team.
You'll also play a key role in building a high-performing, integrated team, supporting capability growth and mentoring emerging talent within Beca's renewables business.
What You'll Be Involved In
Leading the delivery of onshore wind projects across development, design, procurement and construction phases
Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing input into feasibility studies, business cases and investment decisions
Bringing construction and delivery execution learnings into early-stage development; shaping design, programme and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across civil, electrical, geotechnical, environmental and grid disciplines to deliver integrated project outcomes
Supporting project governance activities, including programme, cost, risk, quality and commercial management
Supporting construction delivery and providing oversight through commissioning and project close-out
Mentoring and developing team members to build a sustainable, high-performing delivery capability
Contributing to client engagement, proposals and market growth within the wind sector
About You
You bring extensive experience delivering large-scale wind projects, combined with a strong understanding of engineering design, constructability and construction delivery.
You'll bring:
A degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, with CPEng and relevant state registrations i.e. RPEQ, RPEV or equivalent
Significant experience across the wind project lifecycle, including projects delivered through construction and commissioning
Demonstrated ability to translate delivery learnings into front-end development value
Strong understanding of constructability, risk management and delivery models with proven experience in construction phases
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships
Commercial acumen and experience supporting project pursuits and advisory work
