We are actively hiring for a Sr. Manager, Program Management - Remote
Your Role: The Senior Manager, Program Management leads a team responsible for delivering multiple sophisticated, high-impact programs aligned with organizational priorities. This role provides strategic direction and oversight to program and project managers, ensuring effective management of timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and outcomes. Serving as a thought leader in program management, the Senior Manager drives best practices, strengthens execution, and influences how programs are delivered across the organization. Working closely with senior leaders and executives, this role translates business strategy into actionable programs that drive measurable results, innovation, and long-term organizational success.
Your Work:
Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Be responsible for the execution of multiple high-complexity programs, ensuring they are aligned with program goals and objectives. Lead interdependencies and integration across programs, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
Optimize the allocation and utilization of resources across multiple programs, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Lead resource conflicts and prioritize resource allocation to meet program demands.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Facilitate partner engagement and communication throughout the program lifecycle, regularly interacting with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several divisions or functional areas.
Establish and supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success. Use these metrics to drive performance improvements and ensure program objectives are met. Regularly review and adjust critical metrics to align with evolving program goals.
Ensure programs have necessary change management capabilities to ensure that program changes are effectively communicated and implemented.
Implement advanced quality assurance processes to ensure that program deliverables meet the required standards and specifications. Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to maintain high standards.
Capture and share lessons learned and standard methodologies across programs to promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the organization. Establish a knowledge repository for future reference.
Address and resolve conflicts that arise within the program, ensuring that issues are managed effectively and do not impact program success. Implement conflict resolution strategies to maintain a collaborative work environment.
Develop and deliver comprehensive program reports to senior management, providing insights into program performance, risks, and opportunities. Ensure transparency and accountability in program reporting.
Encourage strategic innovation within the program, finding opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative approaches to enhance program outcomes. Develop a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Provide leadership development opportunities for program managers and senior program managers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Mentor and guide senior program managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
As appropriate, manage relationships with external vendors and strategic partners, ensuring that their contributions align with program goals and deliver value to the organization. Negotiate high-level contracts and manage vendor performance.
Ensure that program objectives are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Develop strategies to achieve these objectives and adjust plans as vital. Align program initiatives with broader business strategies.
Identify and manage program risks, interdependencies, and develop and implement mitigation strategies. Supervise the status of risks throughout the program and advise key audiences. Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management plans.
Manage program budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial goals. Supervise financial performance and make vital adjustments. Ensure adherence to budgets and financial targets.
Serve as a leader with vision in program management, contributing to the development of procedures and standards.
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on program management processes and methodologies.
Partner with managers in change management to ensure alignment on standard processes and methodologies.
Partner with COE and Portfolio Management office to ensure the alignment of procedures and requirements for reporting standards are being me
Required Experience, Education and Skills
Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PMP/PMI certification or equivalent experience as a program manager for 7+years
10+ years of project/program management principles and methodologies obtained by managing large-scale, sophisticated projects/programs
10+ years Program/Project delivery experience
Proven ability to lead others directly or indirectly, as demonstrated through 3+ years of leading teams, enterprise-wide programs, or large cross-functional programs.
Advanced understanding of PMP-aligned program management methodologies.
Proficiency with program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smart-sheets, Asana, Monday, etc.).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and social skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and lead multiple large-scale programs simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to adapt to changing program requirements and priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to influence and negotiate with executive stakeholders.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
In-depth knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
5+ years’ experience in a professional consulting environment
Expertise in budgeting and financial management in program settings.

The national average salary range for this position is $160,155.00-$177,950.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $160,155.00-$213,550.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 20% of eligible pay.This job posting will be unposted on Mon, 31 Aug 2026.
