Applicants must be registered in a graduate program at McGill in the Fall 2026 term. Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person.  Applicants are requested to submit a CV with their application.

• INTD 200 Introduction to International Development (1 position)

 
Position Summary: 

• Instruction in conference sections; 

• availability for student consultation/office hours; 

• attendance in class lectures (when required by instructor); 

• grading of papers, exams, and other course components; 

• consultation with course instructor; 

• assistance in the preparation of course materials. 

 
Qualifications: 

• Must be graduate student enrolled at McGill University; all fields considered;

• Students with an undergraduate B.A., IDS Honors/Joint Honors encouraged to apply;

• Demonstrable knowledge of world development preferred;

• Good academic standing;

• Sensitivity to issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion strongly encouraged;

• Students enrolled in the Development Studies graduate option strongly encouraged to apply;

• Effective communication skills.
