POSITION SUMMARY:
Purchasing Raw Materials (Bulk and Packaging) for Watertown manufacturing site through SAP-MRP system. Supports production planning, demand management, inventory control, scheduling, material availability, capacity planning, and coordination between manufacturing and supply chain teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make measurable improvements in team and facility safety.
Purchase raw materials (bulk and packaging).
Reviewing messages daily and notify team of issues or discrepancies as seen.
Maintaining invoice reports.
Communicating effectively and efficiently with suppliers.
Establish and implement effective strategies to manage inventory levels.
Communication with production, sales, and supply chain teams. Respond to and keep each informed of potential problems and opportunities related to forecast and non-forecasted orders and recommend alternatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Obtain an intimate understanding of the production process and how it relates to efficient scheduling (appropriate MOQ’s, proper changeover sequencing, etc.)
Serve as the back-up to production scheduler for communications associated with the master schedule, on-time delivery, production capacity and planning and sales forecasts based on the master production schedule
Work with production scheduler
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Highschool diploma or GED
3+ years SAP experience.3+ years planning/buying experience.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
4 Year Degree preferred, or 3-5 years' experience

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
