Manager of Strategic Residential Initiatives

Description

The primary goal of the Manager of Strategic Residential Initiatives is to help increase the number of referrals for

residential services by communicating our mission with relevant community stakeholders. The Manager will also assist

new applicants through the intake and screening process.

Essential Core Responsibilities

New Referrals for Residential Services and Collaborating with Community Stakeholders

• Serve as a liaison with new and existing community partners and stakeholders.
• Meet with CSBs/BHAs to identify individuals who need residential services offered by Faison
• Identify and develop relationships with new and existing residential options and property management companies to
• Identify residential options that are appropriate for the adults who receive our services.
• Meet with potential residents and / or their authorized representatives to learn more about where they want to live and what they need to live more independently.
• Meet with relevant stakeholders and community members to learn more about their goals, their products, and their service models.
• Educate and inform relevant stakeholders, community members, and potential residents about the resources available to adults in the Commonwealth and the services provided at the Faison Center.
• Help connect applicants to available resources.

Screening and Intake

• Help screening interested applicants
• Support applicants through the application process
• Assist with gathering relevant information required for admission
• Identify, troubleshoot, and help remove barriers to accessing Adult Services at the Faison Center

Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Prior experience growing programs / services and / or sales 
• Ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written media
• Ability to observe, ask questions, listen actively, and give and accept feedback effectively
• A high energy level, adaptability, assertiveness, patience and ability to work in a team environment model professional behavior
• Participate in and complete assigned training and implement procedures as outlined in training materials; complete all assignments related to mandatory training requirements
• Operation of a motor vehicle is required which includes proof of a valid driver’s license, an ability to maintain automobile
• Liability insurance as required by state law in Virginia and an ability to qualify as a driver under Faison insurance guidelines

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
