As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Services in Merritt Island, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence, support access control, monitor visitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to maintain a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Manage front desk operations by greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with facility requirements.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services and/or designated contacts when needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting a professional, controlled reception environment at an aerospace and defense location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Hold CPR certification, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
