As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Edinburgh, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
