This role is situated within the Chief Security Office (CSO) - Chief Technology Office (CTO), a critical component of Deutsche Bank's Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) division, which spearheads the Bank's digital transformation. You will play a pivotal role in the Security Monitoring & Remediation (SM&R) pillar, whose vision is to build proactive and automated capabilities to manage evolving cyber threats. Your work will directly enhance the Bank's ability to detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents, fortifying our defences through an adaptive, agile, and highly automated approach to threat management.
The Project Manager Security Monitoring (m/f/x) is a critical role responsible for driving the successful execution of assigned Security Monitoring & Remediation (SM&R) program. This individual will be in charge of tracking assigned program deliverables, ensure smooth project management, enhance stakeholder communication, and lead discussions on key security objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in cyber security project management, and a commitment to delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Program Governance & Process Adherence: Adhere to and effectively utilize established governance frameworks and standardized project management processes to ensure consistent, transparent, and efficient delivery of the assigned SM&R program's objectives.
- Project & Initiative Delivery: Manage the planning, execution, and successful completion of assigned SM&R projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, effective resource utilization, and timely delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, proactive communication on assigned project status, performance, risks and financials to relevant stakeholders, including Program Delivery Lead, Internal Teams and PMO.
- Risk & Performance Management: Rigorously track, report, and proactively manage risks, project performance metrics, and financial aspects for assigned projects, ensuring rapid identification and escalation of issues to the Program Delivery Lead.
Skills
- A track record of 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity program or project management, with significant exposure to security operations, monitoring, and remediation environments.
- Demonstrated experience in adhering to and applying program governance frameworks and standardized project management methodologies.
- Governance & Process Expertise with demonstrated success in enforcing program governance frameworks and standardized project management methodologies.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, influencing stakeholders and managing expectations within project scope.
- Solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles, technologies (e.g., SOAR, SIEM, EDR) and best practices relevant to security monitoring, threat intelligence and incident response.
