Your Impact
As a housekeeping aide, you help protect patients, visitors, and staff by keeping clinical and public areas clean, safe, and welcoming. This role supports a fast-moving care environment where professionalism and customer service matter.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clean and disinfect assigned areas using approved methods and products
- Handle waste and linen safely; follow infection-prevention and safety practices
- Perform OSHA Category I tasks with appropriate PPE due to possible exposure to blood/body fluids
- Restock supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and teammates
Required qualifications/skills:
- Physical and mental ability to meet the Physical Activity Evaluation Form requirements
- Three months of health care or commercial housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong customer service and reliable attendance
