Key Responsibilities

Client Collaboration: Meet with client representatives to define project requirements, preferences, and scope.

System Design & Analysis: Design and analyze HVAC systems, ensuring full compliance with local/national building codes and engineering standards.

Site Surveys & Planning: Conduct pre-design site visits to assess existing conditions, create preliminary drawings, and obtain necessary approvals.

Documentation & Submittals: Develop complete contract documents (calculations, design drawings, schematics, and details) and review constructor submittals for accuracy.

Construction Administration: Perform ongoing site observations to verify construction matches contract documents and codes as experience grows.

Cross-Disciplinary Support: Assist with plumbing and fire protection system design as needed.
Qualifications

Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on HVAC design experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit.

Certifications: EIT certification preferred.

Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
