Workplan

Construct a workplan for the design, development, and delivery of an enhanced cost attribution data model, including maturation to integrate with SAP S4 HANA.

Review Current Model

Review and provide feedback on the current foundational Cost Attribution Model.

Impact Summary

Participate and provide a summary of the impacts of stakeholder consultations on data model design to the project team, including data collection from stakeholders.

Data Elements Required

Present a list of required data elements and rationale as to why they are required.

Assumptions

Present a list of assumptions that should be applied in the financial data model.

Data Model Design

Present the data model design, including demonstrations, to the project team for feedback.

Presentation of Completed Model

Present the completed data model with demonstrations of the data model.

Training Materials

Prepare and provide supporting materials for 3 training/information sessions

Recommendation of Enhancements

Present a summary of recommendations for future advancement of the financial data model.

Mandatory Criteria

MTC1

The proposed resource must have obtained a diploma or degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business administration or economics from a recognized postsecondary institution.

MTC2

The proposed resource must hold a current and valid Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation (this includes CPA-CA, CPA-CMA and CPA-CGA).

MTC3

The proposed resource must have a minimum of ten years of experience providing financial analysis, costing, or management accounting services in large or complex* organizations

*”Large or complex” is defined as meeting at least one (1) of the following criteria:

- Has 8,000 employees or;

- Has annual budget or revenue over $1 billion or;

- Has operations in multiple regions/provinces or countries

or;

- Has a matrix reporting relationship where units support multiple business lines.

MTC4

The proposed resource must have a minimum of 5 years (60 months) of experience developing, enhancing, or applying costing, cost attribution, or financial allocation models using financial or volumetric data.

MTC5

The proposed resource must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with enterprise financial data environments (this includes SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA) to support financial analysis or costing activities.
