Your machining skills will help turn raw blanks into precision components used in demanding applications, including aerospace, defense, and medical industries. You’ll set up and operate CNC lathes, work to tight tolerances, and ensure every finished part meets engineering specifications and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components
• Machine blanks into finished parts according to engineering specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Machine components to tight tolerances
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
• Maintain accurate production records
• Follow AS9100 quality requirements

What You’ll Need

• CNC lathe setup and operating experience
• Experience machining tight-tolerance precision parts
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience inspecting machined components using precision measuring tools

Preferred

• Aerospace machining experience
• Experience working with AS9100 quality requirements
