Let's be clear: roles like this come up about once a decade.
We have been retained by a famous independent creative company. Over 300 people in London, 500+ worldwide, and no holding company telling them how to work.
They decide for themselves, and they have decided AI should make their people faster, sharper and freer to do the work only humans can do.
They are an Anthropic partner, and they are rolling out Claude Cowork across the entire business. They need one person to own it.
What You'll Own
The whole programme. Sit with every department (finance, new business, creative, production, account management) and design Cowork workflows for their actual jobs. Build the living playbook of agents, skills, prompts and connectors. Recruit champions in every office. Get permissions, data and client confidentiality right with the CIO and General Counsel. Build the business case with the CFO and measure it honestly. Present opportunity and risk straight to the partner group. Keep one eye on local LLMs and what could move in-house.
Must-Have
- 8+ years landing technology adoption, automation or operational transformation in a services business (agency, consultancy or professional services)
- Genuine hands-on Claude fluency: Cowork, Projects, agents, skills, MCP connectors, model nuances
- Gemini knowledge and change experience in the Google environment
- Fluent on data governance, permissions and integrations, with client confidentiality treated as sacred
- The rapport to sit with a team in the morning and write the strategy deck about them in the afternoon
Nice-to-Have
- Creative or media industry background
- You read and write code for skills and integrations
- A working view on the local LLM market and on-prem options
