About the Role
At Maersk, we are transforming the future of logistics by connecting the world through seamless supply chains. As a Dispatcher - South, you will play a critical role in ensuring freight moves efficiently across road, rail, and barge networks while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily dispatch operations across truck, rail, and barge transportation.
Monitor transport execution to achieve On Time Arrival (OTA) targets.
Validate, accept, and execute freight orders while maintaining stakeholder communication.
Optimize transport planning through vendor selection, triangulation, and mode selection.
Manage service providers to deliver best-in-class service and quality standards.
Proactively resolve operational exceptions and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with customs, legal, and transportation regulations.
Partner with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or freight forwarding operations.
Good understanding of inland transportation networks.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Customer-focused and results-oriented approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
