Parts & Inventory Associate

Description

Summary:

Performs a variety of customer service and stocking duties related to the receiving, sales of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of H&S’s parts department. Ongoing responsibility assisting with the counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities.

Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

· Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, including accuracy for count and type of product

· Prep order for shipment by inspecting for quality, proper labeling, and packaging

· Load product on outbound trucks as necessary

· Conduct physical inventory counts as required

· Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with their needs

· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures

· Adheres to company quality protocols and processes

· Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the H&S handbook

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

 Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to read and count with accuracy and perform basic math calculations

· Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and identify customer needs

· Ability to work with minimal supervision

· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

· Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines 

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or Equivalent

· Must have current forklift driving certification in order to operate forklift

· Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
