Senior Project Analyst - Home Ownership

ABOUT THE JOB 

As a Senior Project Analyst (Financial Performance), you will lead and coordinate Program Management support and enabling activities within a large program of work, primarily focused on software development and technology-driven initiatives. This includes assurance across:

• Project planning
• Status reporting
• Financial budgeting and reporting
• Risk and issue management
• Change control processes

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Prepare regular financial performance reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with governance standards. 

• Supporting the Program Manager in managing a range of projects in scale and complexity 

• Supporting Project Managers with Clarity, Rally and PET tools and processes 

• Supporting program Planning activities and Schedule Management 

• Supporting and providing assurance over Risk, Issue and Change Management Functions 

• Supporting and enabling effective Cost Management through analysis and assurance, working with the Delivery Leads to manage project / program budgets and support completion of work stream funding submissions, using nominated financial workbooks 

• Liaising with Project / Program Managers to support delivery against the program timelines 

• Working collaboratively with other key Business units to assist in the success of the overall project 

• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time. 

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

• At least 6 years’ work experience in project management (including end-to-end delivery of software projects within a PMO framework) and 3 years in Financial Services industry.

• Strong ability to manage, analyse, report and negotiate on project budgets and costs, and help Project Managers with Funding Submissions and understanding of financial treatments.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

• Demonstrates excellent Ms Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills.

• Good understanding of project management principles and key phases of project delivery, with demonstrated experience working in an agile environment 

• Detailed knowledge of how to maintain and manage Risks & Issues Registers and provide governance over Change Control process, providing reporting at project and program level 

• Good understanding of how to identify and track project dependencies and maintain project plans 

• Strong Stakeholder Management skills with the ability challenge where needed, and to influence positive outcomes. 

• Demonstrates excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing

• Good understanding of how to effectively provide assurance and oversight over key project delivery processes and project data 

• Prior project experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry an Advantage 

• Experience with Rally is an advantage
