Location: Zinc - London
Reporting To: Rachel Moore
Compensation: £45,000 - £55,000 / year
Description
This is a hands-on IC role. You’ll build, launch, test and optimise campaigns yourself, and own the strategy behind them. ⚡️
⚡️📆⭐️(Please find full interview process listed in the Job description on our website - including timelines) ⚡️⭐️
Key Responsibilities 🗝️
-
Paid social campaign management: Planning, building and launching campaigns, predominantly on LinkedIn with a lighter touch on Meta, across campaign objectives, audiences and messaging. Leading activity across the full funnel, balancing brand, consideration and retargeting, in the UK and as we expand globally. 🧑💼
-
Strategy and budget ownership: Owning the paid social strategy, set against marketing objectives and commercial targets. Managing budgets, pacing and forecasting, and making data-led recommendations to the Senior Demand Gen Lead to improve performance and ROI. 📊
-
Optimisation and testing: Running regular A/B tests across ad types, audiences, messaging, creative and landing pages, guided by a structured testing roadmap. Making fast pause/scale calls from the data. 🧪
-
Emerging channels: Identifying and recommending new channels to test (e.g. Reddit ads, ChatGPT ads, G2 ads) and running pilots from a scoped test plan through to a clear scale or kill decision. Reporting openly on the results and limitations of each so we can make informed investment decisions.
-
Reporting and analysis: Producing monthly paid reports covering spend, pipeline, and ROAS, using HubSpot and Dreamdata to show what’s driving Leads, MQLs, SQLs and revenue. Giving marketing leadership clear readouts with recommendations, not just numbers. Owning the tagging framework (UTMs, tracking pixels, GA4, HubSpot integration), including its accuracy and maintenance. 🧑🔧
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with marketing and the commercial teams to ensure paid activity isn’t siloed. Partnering with the Social Media Manager and Creative team to produce performance-led assets at a steady cadence and avoid creative fatigue, and aligning on a thought leadership approach that carries high-performing organic content into paid and vice versa. 👯
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 🚀
- 3+ years hands-on paid social experience, predominantly in LinkedIn.
- Proven experience running LinkedIn campaigns for a B2B SaaS business, ideally in-house, though agency experience will be considered.
- Experience running account-based paid campaigns using target lists and CRM-synced audiences, alongside Sales.
- Strong analytical skills, and comfortable using HubSpot, Google Analytics and attribution tooling (we use Dreamdata) to collate clear and consistent performance reports.
- Budget ownership and a track record of tying spend to pipeline and revenue. Comfortable setting up tracking and talking about the commercial impact of your channels.
- Experience running structured experiments across paid media channels.
- Experience managing display, programmatic, YouTube or paid search campaigns.
- Experience scaling LinkedIn campaigns internationally.
- Piloting emerging channels (Reddit, G2, ChatGPT ads) through to a scale or kill decision
- Hands-on experience with GA4, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Conversions API and UTM governance, with a working grasp of consent and GDPR-compliant tracking.
