Description

Position Summary

The Developer collaborates with the IT department and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and user-friendly web applications and software solutions that support business objectives and enhance the customer experience.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in AWS, Node.js, React, PHP, HTML, MySQL and CSS, experience with AI application development, including integrating large language models (LLMs), AI APIs, and AI-powered features into web applications is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality web applications and software solutions. 
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify technical solutions, and deliver projects that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications using technologies such as Node.js, React, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build, deploy, and maintain applications and services within AWS cloud environments.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to support business operations.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously enhance website functionality, usability, and customer experience.
• Maintain technical documentation, including application architecture, system integrations, and development procedures.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve software quality and development productivity.
• Ensure applications follow security best practices and comply with organizational IT policies.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional web development experience, including experience with full-stack application development.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications.
• Strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and software development expertise.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, PHP, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, application deployment, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party systems.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Knowledge of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
• Experience with application performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of web application security principles and secure coding practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eCommerce platforms, particularly Adobe Commerce (Magento).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, and third-party business systems.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and component-based architecture.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), and AI-assisted software development tools.
• Experience with automated testing, application monitoring, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
