Recruitment Consultant

Role Overview

Albida is looking for a 360 Recruitment Consultant to build and run a specialist desk spanning Finance, HR and IT recruitment, with a strong core in the ERP space (platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics). This is a full-cycle role covering both permanent and contract: you will generate your own client relationships, win roles, source and manage candidates, and carry every placement through to offer and aftercare.

This suits someone who wants to build a specialist market rather than work a generalist desk. Specialist ERP, Finance, HR and IT recruitment runs on long-term client relationships, deep candidate networks and genuine knowledge of the systems and functions you recruit into, so there’s real scope to become the go-to consultant across these spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Business development

• Identify and approach prospective client organisations hiring across ERP, Finance, HR and IT, across both permanent and contract (B2B) requirements
• Build and manage a portfolio of retained and preferred-supplier client relationships
• Negotiate terms of business, fees and exclusivity arrangements

Candidate sourcing and management

• Source candidates across ERP platforms (Workday, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Finance, HR and IT functions through search, referral and your own network
• Qualify candidates against role requirements, motivations and availability
• Manage candidates through interview, offer and onboarding, keeping them engaged throughout

Full-cycle delivery

• Take ownership of vacancies from initial brief through to placement, on both perm and contract
• Manage the interview process and feedback loop between client and candidate
• Negotiate offers and manage counter-offer situations

Market and account development

• Build genuine market knowledge across your desk: platforms, functions, day rates, salary benchmarks and talent availability
• Map target accounts and candidates within your specialism
• Represent Albida at industry events and networking opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Proven 360 recruitment experience, ideally within ERP, Finance, HR tech, IT or a related technology or business-function niche
• A track record of winning new business and managing client relationships end to end
• Strong candidate sourcing skills across direct search, referral and networking
• Comfortable working both permanent and contract (B2B) desks
• Resilient, target-driven and comfortable with the ups and downs of a 360 desk
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, confident operating at senior stakeholder level
• Genuine interest in building deep market knowledge across ERP, Finance, HR and IT, rather than treating it as just another sector

Nice to have

• Existing network or placements within Workday, SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics ecosystems, or across Finance, HR or IT functions
• Experience recruiting into financial services or professional services clients
