What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, elected officials, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry procedures for public-facing government operations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; promptly communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
