SUMMARY:   The Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator will provide administrative support for the recruitment of production workers for the various George’s Inc. locations and departments. This includes all applicant interactions at the George’s Employment and Training Center (ETC) from initial contact to new employee orientation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for various administrative duties including but not limited to answering telephone calls, responding to email requests, printing new hire paperwork, greeting, and directing job applicants and visitors, filing, making copies, and coordinate scheduling of interviews, tours, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Partner with recruiters to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with defined criteria.
  • Assist job applicants with computer-based application process. Ensure applications are completed accurately.
  • Complete verifications regarding previous George’s employment history.
  • Conduct new employee orientation for English, Spanish and Marshallese speaking employees. Verify and document all training is successfully completed.
  • Complete data entry into HRIS system for all production new hires. Transfer new hire documentation to applicable facility.   
  • Create badges for new employees.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Required
    • High school diploma AND 2 years of experience in office environment, working with the public, and maintaining and handling confidential information
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Marshallese) 
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Preferred
    • Associate degree
    • Previous Human Resources experience
