About the Role
We're looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that enables our internal engineering teams to deploy applications efficiently and securely. This is an internal engineering role with no client-facing responsibilities. Rather than developing applications, you'll focus on designing and maintaining the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud services that allow citizen engineers and development teams to deploy standardized applications across Microsoft Azure and Databricks environments. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, thrives with minimal supervision, enjoys solving infrastructure challenges, and is passionate about improving engineering productivity through automation and modern DevOps practices.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain applications and infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and
- Databricks.
- Configure and administer Azure services, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity management.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable deployment templates and standardized cloud environments.
- Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable application deployments.
- Build and maintain the cloud infrastructure required for citizen engineers and development teams to deploy standardized applications.
- Support deployment of data solutions, including integrations with Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, and other enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment automation, scalability, security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and production issues.
- Evaluate and adopt modern DevOps tools, automation techniques, and AI-assisted engineering workflows where appropriate.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in cloud architecture, deployment standards, and engineering best practices.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar).
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Experience deploying and supporting workloads in Databricks
- Experience configuring Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Single Sign-On (SSO)
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. - Strong experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, and JavaScript (React), with a solid understanding of application architecture to effectively support deployment and infrastructure requirements.
- Strong understanding of Git-based development workflows.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and strong communication skills suitable for a U.S.-based work environment.
- Availability to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and data pipelines.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or DevOps productivity tools.
- Startup or high-growth company experience.
- Graduate of a leading university is an advantage.

- Comfortable taking ownership of infrastructure and deployment initiatives.
- Passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps best practices.
- Able to collaborate effectively with engineering teams while working independently.
