Role description:
We're looking for a DevOps engineer to lead migrations of customer infrastructure from AWS to OCI, build automation and Terraform-based deployments, and work directly with customers to scope and document solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead migration projects moving infrastructure and workloads from AWS to OCI
- Design, write, and deploy infrastructure using Terraform, managing the full lifecycle
- Build and maintain automation for deployment and infrastructure processes
- Communicate directly with customers to understand needs and propose solutions
- Produce documentation covering architecture, migration steps, and solutions delivered
- Own assigned projects with minimal oversight
Required qualifications
- Hands-on production experience with AWS
- Hands-on production experience with OCI
- Direct experience migrating workloads/infrastructure from AWS to OCI
- Terraform experience across the full lifecycle (design, write, deploy, maintain)
- Experience automating deployment and infrastructure processes
- Client-facing communication experience — discussing requirements and proposing solutions directly with customers
