Charter Steel is hiring Wire Draw Machine Operators! $26.50/hr + $2,000 sign on bonus!

1 Position Available at Charter Steel — 1658 Cold Springs Rd. Saukville, WI 53080
Wire Draw Operator | 5pm -5am, 12-hour shifts | $26.50/hr
Operate a wire draw machine to create finished products
Package steel coils to meet customer specifications
Transport coils for storage using a forklift.
Frequent standing and walking reaching above shoulder and lifting up to 35lbs
Rotating 5-2-2-5 Schedule. 12 hour shifts. 5 nights on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off!

What We’re Looking For:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. If you don’t have it, we’ll support you through our free GED Works program.
Skills: Quick learners who enjoy working with their hands.
Team Players: Strong teamwork skills and excellent attendance.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow safety instructions and maintain high standards.
Background in manufacturing or industrial production, machining, set-up, metals industry
Forklift experience is a plus!
