Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to alarms, document activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding emergency personnel while supporting a professional, welcoming environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
