We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time temporary contract in New Lenox, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with acute wound care experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Temporary / Full-Time Contract.
- Location: New Lenox, IL.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday.
- Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
- Weekend Requirement: None.
- On-Call: None.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Deliver specialized nursing care for patients with acute and complex wounds.
- Execute physician orders accurately and within established timeframes.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, infection prevention practices, and patient safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum 2 years of acute wound care nursing experience.
- Experience using Cerner EMR.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are required for this assignment.
