Position Overview
Vantage is seeking a senior, hands-on finance leader to serve as Vice President, Capital Management for North America. This role will be responsible for building, leading, and continuously improving the financial discipline around Vantage’s capital deployment, with a particular focus on Delivery (Construction), Development (Land, Power, NSD), and any and all other capex related spend to manage budgeting, spend, forecasting, and capital efficiency performance management. The VP will partner closely with the Delivery and Development business leaders as well as Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Capital Markets teammates, and will report to the Regional CFO, while liasingwith the Regional President to provide timely visibility into committed spend, forecasted spend, budget variances, risks, contingency usage, and cash requirements across the North America delivery and development portfolio. This leader will establish scalable processes, reporting standards, and governance routines that improve capital accountability, support executive decision-making, and help ensure Vantage deploys capital efficiently while meeting customer, schedule, budget and return objectives.
Essential Job Functions
Capital Management Leadership:
· Lead the North America capital management function, establishing clear ownership, governance, reporting standards, and operating rhythms for delivery and development capital across the portfolio.
· Serve as the senior finance partner with the Delivery and Development business leaders as well as Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Capital Markets teammates.
· Provide timely visibility into committed spend, forecasted spend, budget variances, risks, contingency usage, and cash requirements across the North America delivery and development portfolio to the Regional CFO and Regional President.
· Drive accountability for capital efficiency by creating consistent visibility into approved budgets, commitments, actuals, forecasts, contingency usage, cost-to-complete, and risk-adjusted cash needs.
Construction Cost Finance & Project Controls Partnership:
· Lead financial oversight of construction cost finance processes, including project budget setup, change order tracking, cost coding, accrual support, invoice review, commitment tracking, and forecast-to-complete analysis.
· Partner with construction and project controls leaders to improve the quality, consistency, and timeliness of cost data received from general contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
· Establish standardized processes to identify cost overruns, schedule-driven financial risks, contingency releases, scope changes, and other items that could affect development returns or customer commitments.
Capital Forecasting, Cash Planning & Reporting:
· Own the development and continuous improvement of capital forecasting tools, including monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasts, cost-to-complete models, and multi-year capital deployment views.
· Coordinate with FP&A, Treasury, and Capital Markets to ensure capital spend forecasts are accurately reflected in liquidity planning, funding needs, business cases, and executive reporting.
· Develop dashboards and management reporting that provide leadership with actionable insight into capital spend, budget variance, forecast accuracy, committed versus uncommitted spend, and project-level financial performance.
Governance, Controls & Process Improvement:
· Design and implement scalable governance processes for capital approvals, budget transfers, change order visibility, accrual coordination, and recurring portfolio reviews.
· Partner with Accounting and Internal Audit to strengthen capital expenditure controls, improve documentation, and support accurate and timely financial reporting.
· Lead process and systems improvements that reduce manual reporting, improve data quality, and create a single source of truth for capital spend and project financial performance.
Executive Communication & Team Leadership:
· Prepare and present capital management updates for senior executives, regional leadership, and Board-level materials, translating complex project and financial data into clear business recommendations.
· Build, manage, and develop a high-performing capital management and construction cost finance team capable of supporting Vantage’s rapid growth and increasing capital complexity.
· Additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
· 10+ years of progressive experience in capital management and/or financial planning and analysis — ideally within technology, logistics, or infrastructure sectors.
· Financial reporting and budgeting experience is required
· Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
· Construction cost finance/accounting and/or cost accounting experience preferred but not required
· Investor relations experience preferred but not required
· Data center experience is preferred, but not required
· Proficient with financial reporting and analysis
· Strong experience with presenting complex data sets both written and orally with the ability to simplify for ease of understanding
· Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
· Travel required is expected to be less than 20%, but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details
· Salary Range: $230,000-$260,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

· Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
