The role

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IAM Manager, who will oversee TMICC’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) function, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant access across the organization. This role focuses on managing the IAM team, programs, and tools, providing strategic guidance, operational oversight, and stakeholder alignment. You will be part of the Global Information & Cyber Security team and report directly to the CISO, collaborate closely with HR, IT and other teams to maintain robust access controls, mitigate security risks, and drive IAM initiatives across the enterprise.The newly created Ice Cream Technology function will drive the technology set-up, standalone design and implementation of all required technology capabilities to enable Unilever’s Ice Cream business to become a fully functioning standalone company, separate from Unilever.

What you'll be responsible for

Develop and execute IAM strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise security goals, Zero Trust principles, and modern identity frameworks.

Lead cloud identity and access architecture evolution, including authentication, federation, and Conditional Access capabilities.

Manage IAM transformation programs, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and operational readiness.

Partner with business, IT, security, and compliance stakeholders to align IAM initiatives with organizational priorities.

Manage IAM vendors and third-party service relationships, including performance, contracts, and operational effectiveness.

Establish and enforce IAM governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls.

Ensure secure management of third-party, partner, vendor, and external identities including federated and B2B access.

Oversee access controls, privileged access management, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance.

Drive access reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities (SOX, ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR).

Monitor and report on IAM KPIs, risks, SoD violations, and operational performance metrics.

Oversee identity lifecycle management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) processes for accurate provisioning and deprovisioning.

Improve access reviews, entitlement management, PAM, and IGA solutions for better security and efficiency.

Manage non-human identities including service accounts, application identities, and privileged automation accounts.

Integrate IAM processes with enterprise systems to increase automation and reduce manual effort.

Lead investigations into identity-related incidents and implement process improvements.

Collaborate with Cyber Defense and SOC teams to enhance identity threat monitoring and response.

Ensure IAM documentation, training, and transition into business-as-usual operations.

Drive IAM adoption and change management across technical and business teams.

Communicate complex IAM concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Promote security awareness, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in identity management.

We're looking for someone who

8–10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including leadership of teams and programs.

Proven experience managing IAM initiatives, transformation programs, and security control implementations in complex environments.

Strong collaboration experience across IT, Security, HR, and Compliance teams to align identity strategies with business objectives.

Hands-on expertise with IAM/PAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Entra ID, and Azure AD.

Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML), SSO, RBAC, PAM, IGA, SoD, and identity lifecycle management.

Experience with Zero Trust architecture, access risk assessments, and identity security practices.

Experience integrating IAM solutions with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.

Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Ability to balance security, compliance, and business agility while delivering scalable IAM solutions.

Experience driving team collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Professional certifications preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, CIAM, CyberArk Defender, or Azure Identity certifications.
