An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Business Development to join a growing, multi-entity healthcare group delivering specialist services across the UK.
Operates across multiple healthcare brands, providing complex care, mental health support and clinical training services. Each brand has its own identity and specialism, but they are united by a shared commitment to quality, clinical excellence, and innovative service delivery.
With a strong national footprint and ambitious growth plans, the group is now seeking a senior commercial leader to drive business development strategy, expand market presence, and lead a high-performing team focused on complex care growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Business Development strategy across complex care services
- Build, manage, and scale a high-performing BD team
- Drive new business growth across complex care, mental health, and community services
- Develop strong relationships with commissioners, ICBs, case managers, and key stakeholders
- Identify and secure new care packages and strategic partnerships
- Work closely with operational and clinical teams to ensure successful service delivery
- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial reporting
- Contribute to wider strategic growth across multiple healthcare brands
- Represent the organisation at sector events and industry forums
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior business development role within complex care or health & social care
- Strong track record of winning and developing complex care packages
- Experience leading or building a BD team (essential)
- Strong network across commissioners, ICBs, and healthcare stakeholders
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to work across multiple service lines and brands
- Willingness to travel regionally as required
