What You Will Do

• Design, build, and scale distributed systems and infrastructure that power high-performance compute workloads

• Optimize performance and reliability across compute, storage, networking, and filesystem layers

• Work directly with bare-metal infrastructure and orchestration systems to improve efficiency and throughput

• Develop systems in low-level, high-performance languages (Go, Rust, C/C++)

• Build and improve internal platforms used by developers to run critical workflows

• Contribute to new AI-driven product initiatives, including systems that support next-generation developer tools

• Collaborate closely with a small, high-caliber engineering team in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–10 years of experience building distributed systems or core infrastructure

• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, C++, or C

• Experience working on systems such as databases, storage engines, or distributed services

• Deep understanding of systems fundamentals (networking, operating systems, storage, performance optimization)

• Experience scaling systems in high-growth environments (startup, big tech, or similar)

• Comfortable working onsite in NYC in a collaborative team setting

• Experience with distributed storage systems (e.g., Ceph, MinIO, or similar)

• Background in infrastructure-heavy companies (e.g., database companies, devtools, cloud infra)

• Experience working with bare-metal systems or low-level performance optimization

• Exposure to quant infrastructure or high-performance computing environments

• Strong academic background in Computer Science or related field
