VICE PRESIDENT, DIRECTOR OF OMNICHANNEL
Strategy
Reports to: Chief Strategy Officer
The role requires deep expertise in integrated marketing, content orchestration, customer experience, and analytics, paired with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies that drive measurable results. This leader will establish best practices, develop talent, and strengthen collaboration across disciplines while maintaining accountability for execution and optimization.

Key Job Responsibilities
(Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Omnichannel Leadership: Lead omnichannel strategy and oversee execution across key client accounts, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, audience needs, and measurable business outcomes.
- Client Partnership: Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, lead high-level discussions and presentations, and build confidence in omnichannel investment, implementation, and optimization.
- Ecosystem & Journey Mapping: Direct the development of customer journey and engagement frameworks that connect channels, content, investment, data sources, and optimization triggers into cohesive audience experiences.
- Vendor/Partner Strategy: Lead the evaluation and recommendation of omnichannel media, technology, and execution partners based on client objectives, platform capabilities, and performance potential.
- Organizational Excellence: Establish and evolve processes, standards, and strategic frameworks that strengthen the consistency, quality, and scalability of omnichannel delivery while accommodating individual client needs.
- Analytics & Optimization: Partner with Data & Analytics to establish measurement frameworks and KPIs, translate performance insights into strategic recommendations, and guide ongoing optimization.
- Long-Term Planning: Own the development of omnichannel visions, strategies, and roadmaps for clients across lifecycle stages, including launch planning and evolving brand needs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Align Integrated Strategy, Creative, Account, Media, UX, and Technology & Solutions teams around shared priorities and integrated solutions.
- Capability Development & Innovation: Advance Calcium+Company’s omnichannel offering by identifying emerging technologies, data solutions, and applications of AI/ML that improve planning, personalization, and execution.
- Business Growth: Lead omnichannel strategy for new business pitches and identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
- Talent Development: Mentor and develop team members, provide strategic direction and actionable feedback, and foster accountability and collaboration.
(Skills/Requirements)
- 10+ years of experience in omnichannel, CX, integrated marketing, analytics, or engagement roles within pharmaceutical marketing/advertising, including significant experience leading omnichannel strategy and execution.
- Demonstrated success leading complex client engagements, cross-functional teams, and multiple workstreams at a senior level.
- Experience leading omnichannel planning and execution for drug launches and/or label updates.
- Deep expertise in HCP marketing, including CRM/RM, HCP-native platforms, media partners, and the interplay between sales and marketing; experience with patient engagement preferred.
- Expert knowledge of healthcare marketing vendors, partners, and data solutions, with the ability to guide strategic partnership and investment decisions.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, journey mapping, content orchestration, personalization, and measurement frameworks.
- Experience evaluating or applying AI/ML to improve omnichannel planning, execution, and optimization.
- Proven ability to translate complex data and insights into clear strategic recommendations and measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and evolve capabilities, processes, and best practices across teams.
- Experience contributing to new business pitches and organic account growth.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and develop talent.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-level client relationship skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with accountability for execution, quality, and performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a passion for innovation.
