As a Manager, HR Business Partner, you are responsible for providing strategic support to the business. This position is responsible for developing and executing a human resources strategy that is aligned with the business and drives results for the functions and/or locations they support. The role serves as a coach and advisor to multiple functional and/or location leaders and their teams to deliver results for the business in line with company expectations. The Manager, HR Business Partner engages resources across the broader HR organization to enable the execution of this strategy, including leveraging the functional expertise and resources of the Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR Shared Services teams.
Job Description
You will contribute by:
- Identifying, developing, and implementing HR programs that support business objectives and key performance priorities.
- Partnering with Facility Operations leaders and serving as a trusted advisor on people, organizational, and capability implications of business strategy.
- Coaching and advising leaders on talent development and performance management.
- Driving key HR initiatives, including talent management, training, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and salary reviews.
- Working strategically with the business to develop and implement focused workforce strategies that align with business and HR objectives.
- Identifying key business trends and collaborating with cross-functional HR resources to develop solutions, programs, and policies that support organizational goals.
- Playing a critical role in embedding a talent management mindset and executing a talent agenda aligned with critical business priorities.
- Driving the talent review process and partnering with business leadership and COEs to create Individual Development Plans and functional talent review action plans.
- Partnering with COEs to drive focus and awareness of organizational Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at the local level.
We’re searching for candidates with:
- Working knowledge of Human Resources laws and regulations.
- Ability to establish credibility and influence leaders.
- Strong internal and external customer service focus.
- Drive to deliver outstanding results across the organization.
- Effective verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across divisions, functions, and levels.
- Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to use data to inform insights and decision-making.
- Ability to identify and handle priority and/or sensitive issues with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources in relevant roles.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting hourly employee client groups.
- Preferred experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including travel to multiple facilities as needed.
- Experience with labor unions is preferred.
