Description
At APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, we enable global trade and drive sustainable growth. What drives us forward is a mindset of always improving — observing how work happens, identifying what creates value, and removing what gets in the way. We constantly look for smarter, simpler, and safer ways of operating. If you thrive in environments where people value learning and are committed to continuously improve daily operations, join us and be a part of our journey.
About the project
APM Terminals and Eurogate have entered into an agreement for a long-term partnership to jointly invest approximately €1 billion in the modernisation of North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven in Germany. The transaction remains subject to relevant approvals.
The transformation includes the transition of terminal operatorship to APM Terminals, investment in modern equipment, infrastructure and systems, and integration of NTB into the APM Terminals global network. The ambition is to develop one of the world’s most efficient and resilient container terminals, including equipment electrification and renewable energy use, with the ambition of operating with zero greenhouse gas emissions. Terminal capacity is expected to increase from approximately three million to four million TEU annually.
As Project Engineering Lead, you will lead a team to coordinate the delivery of multidisciplinary design and technical interfaces, from concept through Issued-for-Construction packages and final engineering close-out. Based in Bremerhaven, Germany, you will report to the Project Director and help ensure designs are compliant, constructable, properly controlled and aligned with operational requirements.
