Renew is a chiropractic and massage clinic specializing in assisting patients in their recovery from accidents and injuries. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to providing comprehensive care to help patients regain pain-free mobility and balance in their bodies. We are currently seeking a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The LMT applicant must be passionate about patient care and have a strong commitment to helping individuals recover from accidents and injuries. The ideal candidate will be confident in their massage therapy skills and possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the importance of therapeutic massage in the rehabilitation process.
Shifts available:
Shifts available:
- Mondays, 2-6pm
- Wednesdays, 2-6pm
- Fridays, 10am-2pm and 2-6pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of patients to determine the most effective massage therapy techniques.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and conditions.
- Perform 25–55 minute massage therapy sessions, and complete SOAP charting notes by the end of the shift.
- Present a warm, professional, and positive disposition from first impression through the entire massage session with each patient.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the shift to get grounded and prepare for the shift.
- Practice the highest standard of sanitation, neatness, and preparedness.
- Support the team in maintaining the linen room by running the washer/dryer and folding linens as needed.
- Contribute to an enjoyable environment at the clinic for patients and fellow staff members alike.
Qualifications:
- Active Massage Therapy License in the state of Oregon.
- Active liability and malpractice insurance.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage therapy techniques that include, but are not limited to deep tissue.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
