Job type: Temporary cover
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Van Driver. This is a hybrid role combining driving and warehouse duties. You will spend time out on the road completing deliveries and collections, as well as supporting warehouse operations when required.
What you’ll do
• Drive a medium wheelbase manual van for deliveries and collections
• Load and unload goods safely
• Wrap pallets and prepare orders for dispatch
• Support picking and packing tasks
• Assist with goods in and goods out
• Carry out manual handling work
• Complete basic vehicle checks
• Support general warehouse duties
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised
What we’re looking for
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience driving a manual van
• Comfortable with physical warehouse work
• Able to switch between driving and warehouse duties
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience
